CCRI has always acted upon the maxim “from bench to bedside” to directly implement scientific results for the benefit of the patient.
An individual can achieve a lot, but real breakthroughs in the fight against cancer can be achieved only by teams, the more multidisciplinary the better.

Supportive Voices

The achievements St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research Institute has made are tremendous. However, the struggle against cancer has yet to be won. I am convinced that the institute’s staff will continue on the path that has been set out with determination and commitment. I wish them every success! Em. Univ.-Prof. Dr. Helmut Gadner, Founding Father

As a citizen of this country I would like to give my heartfelt thanks to all those who have helped to establish and grow St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research Institute over the years and wish them every success in the future. Dr. Heinz Fischer, President of Austria (ret.)

Curative treatments can only come about as a result of successful research work, such as the work done by St. Anna Children’s Cancer Research Institute. I am delighted to have such a facility, which is held in the greatest respect not only by renowned medical congresses throughout the world, as a part of our city. Dr. Michael Ludwig, Mayor and Governor of Vienna
