We strive to get access to the newest genomic technologies and implement holistic approaches to a better understanding and management of paediatric cancers.

The rapid progress in semiconductor, imaging and information technology has revolutionised biomedical research and leads to an enormous increase in basic knowledge about the pathogenesis of many diseases.

The ChildrenĀ“s Cancer Research Institute strives to get access to the newest genomic technologies and implement holistic approaches to a better understanding and management of paediatric cancers. We will face this challenge by strengthening computational biology and by developing strategies for in vivo modeling of selected cancers. These shall help to speed-up the tedious process of bench-bedside translation in paediatric oncology.
