The Research Support Office (RSO) team at the CCRI provides constant support to its researchers and collaborators in the generation of high-quality proposals and acquisition of competitive grants.

The RSO team provides the researchers at the CCRI with expertise in national and international funding and in the preparation of project proposals. In addition to the fund raising activities, the RSO further supports the researchers with the day-to-day management of the active projects, including the monitoring of milestones and achievement of deliverables, timely technical and financial reporting to the funding agencies, and with the dissemination of scientific results.

The RSO is also keen to support the career development of the young researchers working at the CCRI, providing information and guidance on funding opportunities targeting this group. The RSO is, therefore, engaged in supporting PhD students and postdocs working at the CCRI to prepare their career development plans and to apply for a wide range of grants.

Private donations and Public funds

Private donations from the Austrian population significantly contribute to the adequate financial resources which are required to maintain the high quality of scientific work provided by the CCRI. The Association “St. Anna Kinderkrebsforschung e.V.” supports the CCRI by fundraising activities based on the support from our loyal donors.
Further financing needs are met with public funds. The CCRI has successfully managed to obtain well-funded external grants and establish adequate national and international collaborations to gain access to sophisticated methods, highly expensive technologies and state-of-the-art equipment.
